What strings are best with a Gibson Les Paul Studio?
I'm about to get it restrung and let me know if I should continue with the same type of channel that gibson makes the guitar are really nice, or there is another type that brings out the best sound quality of my guitar.
I like Adario D'or Ernie Ball 10 gauge strings personally. They will give a fatter tone of his guitar, especially if paired with a good amplifier. if you are doing great number of drop d tuning, you might want to go with a heavy measure of the low E string as a 48 or 52. That should give a heavier sound bottom. Hope this helps.
