Bass Guitar
How long is the low average of the past?

I know your made of different materials and some last longer than others, but instead of tell me everything that p = Can I get an accurate estimate of time that average $ 250 electric bass guitar last before you should get a new one. Also tell me how often you should get it checked in a guitar shop. PS. Im not speaking of the guitar strings.

That is a question Trickey. When is considered a person who is playing an instrument, I understand not in the professional level yet, so this means you will be testing waters for own unique sound. As a general rule, most of the instruments will last a lifetime, as long as you take care of them. Clean and polish the instrument, seting neck tension and neck efffects moisture ect .. Instead of going out and upgrade to that basis of $ 2500, I recommend that people do what I did with many guitars first I had to upgrade the pads and then the hardware. 99% of their guitar bodies are made of wood, and that is the main part of tone. Mahogany, Black / White Korina, walnut product nice colors thick as maple, poplar, ash, alder produces a more brilliant sound. Unless you hit on the thing or drop, you should expect that this instrument popular that will last a long time, as a matter of fact, you should be able to pass on to their own children if you already have some or have some in the future. Before start building my own electric guitar, used guitars for people hotrod. A friend of mine had bought a $ 5,500 model Gibson Les Pual Slash ago time. I ended up having an Epiphone Les Paul Elight I bought on eBay for $ 475 as a set of SD Alnico 2 pros, swap out all electronic components jap trash for CTS pots ect … and installed a piezo bridge system like the $ 5500 Gibson. The result? guitar on it in one fifth of the price and not sound differant from each other. Both were of mahogany with a maple top and mahogany neck. Both had SD Alnico 2 Pro humbuckers, both had the LR Baggs piezo system and the bridge installed and both had made the American electronic components in them. Get the low service depends on you but if you want to go that route, then at least every appearance 4 months, due to tempurature changes. Anytime you go from winter to summer, the humidity changes in tension in yor neck and being that is a base, this plays havoc on his instrument. You can also get a book on maitnance bass guitar and memorize the book. You can still bring your bass to a pro for the first pitch a couple, but if the start is about what you like then take your knowlage you learned from the book and start doing it yourself. A professional can adjust the pads if necessary, adjust intonation, change the strings, make sure the nut is in good working order and adjust the string height according to your preferance. You can learn from all this you go along and instead of pay as provided on average $ 40-120 depending on what services you need, saving a lot ends up on the road. I started on my own and learned all I know from books. I learned how to set the tone that makes the sound of a differance night and day. I also learned the proper height for fixing strings, adjust the height of collection, the development of a new nut ect. When you learn all that and become proficant which then can leave their own cards in the local music store and do some minor work on other guitars less and throw the money to renew if you Langcaster Bass desert. I made enough money doing refine the work to buy all the shop equiptment needed to start building my own electric guitar during the period of two years. We're talking about more 15K here and still make an average of about $ 100-250 per week doing this as an odd job. It takes almost 30 minutes to do a full installation. When my wife and I sat out my average discount rate based on all my work hours in a year proved to be of $ 322 per hour. This also includes the start pickups new strings, and the hardware but still not bad to read a few books and use that knowlage to earn some extra dollars. I know this is a long answer to your question but I hope that not only answers for you, but I hope this gives you some motivation to study for yourself. The best book I can recommend to anyone One is a book by Melvyn Hiscock called "Make your own electric guitar." Build a low in this book and the information is priceless. Do not leave your fool name already:) and if you are interested in it, try amazon for a slightly used. I have mine for 14 shipped to my house.
